Park costs can rise up at Nyungwe, with all chances, as a result budget systematically and check in advance just in case of increments. An entrance cost of US$20 per individual for a day is collected for the non residents and foreign residents. The cost for chimp tracking is US$50 for non-residents and US$30 for resident foreigners, as different guided walks value US$30 per head for non-residents and US$15 for resident foreigners (in addition to substantial discounts available to young people below the age of fifteen).
The residents of Rwanda pay up an entrance cost of Rfr2,000-4,000 per head for the different guided walks. If you be thankful for the guides’ work, you’re free to tip them.

Nyungwe Forest National Park is possibly among the most authoritative bird viewing location in Rwanda with over 280 bird species registered of which the absolute majority are forest specialists and twenty-six being regional endemics whose range is limited to a number of forests along the Albertine Rift.
